Learning to Love Sustainable Style—One Outfit at a Time
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make more sustainable fashion choices, and honestly, it doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about making small, thoughtful choices that add up over time.
Take these vintage Prada Venice shoes, for example. I bought them because, well… they’re art on your feet! The colors go with everything, and they’re a piece of fashion history. Instead of buying a whole new outfit to match, I chose a spring green Michael Kors wrap dress that felt fresh and timeless. I paired it with my Navy Gia Mini Tote (because function matters too!) and kept it simple with pearl earrings and Prada sunglasses. The shoes are the star, so everything else takes a back seat.
What I love about this approach is that it feels good. Mixing vintage with new, investing in pieces that last, and resisting the urge to chase fast fashion trends—it’s a reminder that style doesn’t have to come at the expense of sustainability. And it’s okay to take it one step at a time!
So here’s to celebrating the little things: rewearing, repurposing, and making thoughtful choices when we can. It all counts. 💚
