We offer both genuine leather and sileather handbags. Quality is first priority and that is why we started with full grain leather. When asked about a vegan handbag offering, what first came to mind are those vegan leather shoes with the "man made upper" that a year after purchasing are literally disintegrating while untouched in my closet. Do you have an inexpensive bag that served a purpose but a year or two later was peeling so you had no choice but to throw out and contribute to landfill? This happens very regularly with most vegan leathers. That began the search for better quality vegan leather alternatives and sileather is so buttery soft and leather like, it became our vegan leather of choice.

We are not perfect by any means but we are committed to making more mindful and better choices. WHAT EXACTLY IS SILICONE LEATHER aka SILEATHER? 

Sileather is a PETA Approved Vegan Leather that was officially launched in 2013 after fifteen years of research and development. It is an excellent leather alternative that has been primarily used in automotive, marine, aviation, healthcare and hospitality. Silicone leather is extracted from natural silica, which is made from sand, and will convert to harmless ingredients after disposal. Sileather is a sustainable and cruelty-free alternative to traditional leather.
